Area guide: Blackley: Moston Lane area
Blackley is about two and a half miles north of the city
centre. It's south of Boggart Hole Clough on the east side of Rochdale
Road - a major route from Manchester to the north and the M60 motorway
(about a mile and a half away).

complex. As well as smaller shops, there's a large Asda store, a covered
market, post office, medical centre, police station, library and sixth
form college. There are modern Sure Start facilities for families with

There are frequent buses along Rochdale Road from Manchester to
Middleton and Rochdale. The vibrant city centre, with its shops,
entertainment and leisure facilities is just a few minutes journey.
Nearby Boggart Hole Clough is one of Manchester's largest parks, with
bowls, fishing, boating, football pitches, playground, running track,
multicourts and woodland walks.
